The seat of the Archdiocese of Lipa. The present church was built in 1860s to 1894 under the supervision of Rev. Benito Varas OSA.The Diocese of Lipa was created by Pope Pius X in 1910. It was devastated after the Liberation bombings of World War II and was reconstructed in 1950s.
