Mainit sa labas, kaya naman napag-isipan namin na magpahinga muna mula sa init na nilakad namin mula Calumpang hanggang Marikina Bayan. Dahil sa gusto na rin naming magpalamig, pinasok namin ang Museo ng Sapatos o ang Footwear Museum ng Marikina City....

Found east of the capital, the city of Marikina is known as the "Shoe Factory of the Philippines" because it is famed for its local industry. The river that runs through it serves as a calming zone for the urbanites. The city, with its leader famed because of "urbanization programs" and will put everything pink all over MetroManila, is well kept, clean and orderly. Citing it as one of the most liveable and competitive cities in the MetroManila and in the country.
